Holland & Knight Pro Bono Team Secures Justice for Client Facing Fraudulent Eviction

When Rosalie* came to Legal Services, she was fighting for more than property – she was fighting for her home and peace of mind.  After a former partner fraudulently removed her name from the title of their shared mobile home and attempted to evict her, she turned to us for help.

Two outstanding pro bono attorneys from Holland & Knight – Dennis A. Gonzalez and Jose A. Casal – stepped up to take on her case.  Over two years, they helped Rosalie reverse the fraudulent title transfer, stop eviction efforts, and ultimately regain full and legal physical control of her home.  Their legal advocacy gave Rosalie stability and a fresh start.
