Pro Bono Clinics & Projects
IN-PERSON PRO BONO CLINICS
All clinics are held in the evening at our office and typically require a 3-hour time commitment. Each clinic features a CLE-eligible training with light fare and refreshments. Volunteers are equipped with laptops pre-loaded with all necessary forms and materials and are provided with private office space for client meetings following the training. Throughout the clinic, our staff attorneys are available to provide instruction, review drafts, and offer real-time supervision to ensure volunteers are well-prepared and supported. Current clinic offerings include the following areas:

PRO BONO PROJECTS
Transactional Equal Justice Project
By participating, attorneys help empower local entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders to thrive—building stronger, more resilient communities in the process. This project provides pro bono legal assistance to eligible small businesses and nonprofit organizations that serve low-income communities or advance social impact. Volunteer attorneys offer guidance on a range of transactional legal matters, including entity formation, contract review, governance, compliance, intellectual property basics, and employment practices.

Veteran Restoration Project
This project provides pro bono legal assistance to veterans seeking to upgrade their military discharge status. Many veterans received less-than-honorable discharges due to circumstances related to trauma, mental health conditions, or other mitigating factors, which can prevent them from accessing critical VA benefits and support services. Volunteer attorneys help veterans prepare and submit discharge upgrade applications to the appropriate military review boards, including drafting personal statements, gathering supporting documentation, and presenting evidence of rehabilitation or injustice.
