Tenants’ Rights Brochures

Florida Landlord-Tenant law changed on July 1, 2023:

  • Miami-Dade County’s Tenants’ Bill of Rights is no longer in effect.

  • Landlords must give 30 days’ notice to terminate if you do not have a lease.

  • Landlords may charge a fee instead of a security deposit and sell tenants an insurance product to protect the landlord.

Parts of these brochures may not be accurate until updated.  We will update them shortly.
